Thai Deputy PM Visits India:

He complimented Indian doctors,engineers and scientist which help in sustained growth of the country.He further added that only 60,000 Thai tourist visited India but indian tourism with its Credible India launch in 2002 has double the foreign tourist to around five millions per annum in 2008 and 527 million domestic tourism visits.He added but India lacks in infrastructure, roads,rail,Thailand is looking to have joint ventures in this area.

We all know that,Tourism being important service industry in India, with a contribution of 6.23% to the national GDP and 8.78% of the total employment in India.

Mr Sabhavasu said that India and Thailand is importing 60-70% energy,fuel,the crude oil is dirty source and we look forward for renewable energy alternate to crude in crops to use of ethanol in coming years.He added Clean energy is needed and both countries need alternate fuel.
Deputy Prime Minister Mr Sabhavasu said the Prime Minister of Thailand is coming early December 09 and Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh to visit Thailand on Oct 22 to attend AEEAN meet.
