Karunakaran passes away

Veteran Congress leader 92. was on a ventilator since yesterday for multiple complications including breathing trouble and four time Chief Minister of Kerala and former Union Minister Kannoth Karunakaran died at a private hospital Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.

Karunakaran was serious for several days, his condition had improved earlier this week and was taken off ventilator but he had been put back on ventilator support since Wednesday.Karunakaran was admitted to hospital with severe breathing problem and fever.At the time of his demise, family members, including son, daughter and other state Congress supporters were by his side.
