Paris a Fashion Week that kicked off on Feb. 28

Hüseyin ÇaÄŸlayan, Hakan Yıldırım and Arzu Kaprol are among the designers who join the Paris a Fashion Week that kicked off on Feb. 28 with the in-crowd abuzz at the prospect of style icon Hedi Slimane designing for Yves Saint Laurent, and rumours putting a newly-free Raf Simons in the wings at Dior.Opening with a day devoted to young designers, the autumn-winter collections round off a month of womenswear shows that have sent fashionistas, models and media trooping on a style trail from New York to London and Milan.  A cellist performing George Frideric Handel’s baroque masterpiece “Sarabande” set the tone as Portugal’s Fatima Lopes sent out sleek, second-skin silhouettes, in solid tones of nude, blood red, burgundy and black. Smriti rallies to beat Sharmila and Nalini in 12 th leg of Hero Women’s Pro Tour NOIDA, March 1: Veteran Smriti Mehra gave her younger rivals Sharmila Nicollet and Nalini Singh lesson in patience and grit as she came from behind to win her fourth title of the season at the 12 th leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf tournament at Jaypee Greens. It was an exciting and tense finish. Despite a late charge by Sharmila with a birdie and two pars in last three holes, Smriti held on with a birdie and three pars on last four holes to grab the title. Smriti, starting the final day four behind leader Nalini Singh Siwach and three behind Sharmila Nicollet, made a sedate start with two pars and then had three birdies in next five holes to make it three-under at the seventh. Romney wins Michigan and Arizona primaries Inching closer to bag the Republican presidential nomination, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney on Wednesday won primaries in Michigan and Arizona, defeating Senator Rick Santorum in a tight race. Now all eyes are on Super Tuesday, 6th March, when primaries are scheduled in about 10 States. A major victory next week would almost seal Romney's nomination, experts say. While final results were yet to be declared, based on the poll results so far, major media outlets in Washington had declared Romney as the winner in both Michigan and Arizona.   CzechTourism India Embassy of the Czech Republic European Quartet countries are gearing up to attract Indian visitors Delhi, 28 February 2012 CzechTourism in India commenced a new season by organising an annual roadshow for four Central European countries under the brand European Quartet – Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Events held in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi hosted till now the largest representation of these upcoming European countries.
