Hong Kong International Film Festival 2013 Awards to Bloom, The Patience Stone capture   Georgia’s In Bloom and Afghan drama The Patience Stone inset emerged as the winners last night at the closing of the 2013 Hong Kong International Film Festival 17 Mar – 2 Apr. In Bloom , co-directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross, claimed the Firebird Award in the Young Cinema competition as well as the FIPRESCI Prize given by film critics.Asian film, The Patience Stone , the Afghanistan’s foreign-language Oscar contender, earned the SIGNIS prize for its humanitarian values. The festival selected 20 titles to play in its short film competition and selected Night Shift as the winner of the Firebird Award. Gujarat cities again create benchmark in urban planning, transparency and resources Surat gets best city award, Ahmedabad runners up  New Delhi:   Gujarat has been adjudged with four prestigious awards by the Annual Survey of India’s City-Systems (ASICS) in different categories at a function held here.
