D.Choudhary the first Indian to be elected as BoD of ITTF   Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) general secretary Dhanraj Choudhary has become the first Indian to be elected as one of the Board of Directors (BoD) to the international sport body (ITTF). He was elected during International Table Tennis Federation's Annual General Meeting held in Paris on Thursday night. Choudhary was nominated to the decision-making body by the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU), following his service to the sport in the region, particularly India. "I feel honoured to have been elected to the BoD of the ITTF. I have an added responsibility of discharging my duties towards promoting the game globally. I will do it with all consciousness and to the fullest ability. But, first and foremost, I will want to take Indian table tennis to another level," Choudhary said from Paris where World Championships are being held. Tehelka's Sting on Varun Gandhi Shows Collusion between BJP and SP to Subvert Justice    The Tehelka sting exposing how Varun Gandhi used the ruling Samajwadi Party leaders, the local BJP leaders, and the local police to intimidate and bribe the witnesses in his hate speech case to turn hostile, and secure his acquittal is a stinging indictment of Varun Gandhi, the BJP, the Samajwadi Party and indeed of the criminal justice system of the country. Varun's hate speech was particularly violent and communal and was recorded on video. Amazingly though, in the trial, the video was not produced by the police which is shown to have colluded with Varun, with the blessings of the Samajwadi party to intimidate and suborn witnesses to secure his acquittal. Carrying forward the form of three successive wins on the opening day, the Indian women with Geethu Anna Jose at the vanguard of their challenge, won the three play-off games without raising much sweat.   India won all their three games reaching the 21-point mark with ample time left on the clock in each of their games.   “We achieved what we set out for,” said Jose, who was an overwhelming favorite in the All Stars nominations.“Things worked out rather well to our satisfaction and each of the team gave their contribution,” she said.   Jose was at the vanguard, but the rest of the Indian members indeed have their share in the victory – first for India at level in any competition

DELHi2050 team- The signing of MoU India & Netherlands   DELHi2050 team-  The signing of MoU India & Netherlands Date; 14 May 2013 DELHi2050 team  warmly welcomes the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between India and The Netherlands on 14 May in The Hague, The Netherlands.
