INDIA Economic growth picked up but remained below potential October 3, 2014 Uncategorized Edit The economy expanded by 4.9% in the fiscal year 2013, up from 4.5% in the previous year. Consumer confidence deteriorated with car sales in 2013 declining for the first time in a decade. Fixed investment also showed, in the with sluggish demand and higher interest rates. The economy is expected to enjoy stronger growth momen
